Targeted Gutter Improvements in Morrisville, NY
Challenge
This Morrisville, NY home had several areas requiring targeted adjustments to improve the way roof runoff was directed into the gutter system. Two roof valleys required additional management, and one valley did not align directly with the gutter below. This created a need for a custom solution to help direct water into the proper collection area. In addition, a downspout had been installed on a fence and needed to be returned to its original location.
Solution
Woodford Brothers installed two valley controllers to address concentrated roof runoff and fabricated a custom diverter from aluminum trim coil for the valley that did not line up with the gutter. The diverter was designed to help guide water into the gutter ather than allowing it to miss the intended collection area.
The crew also moved the downspout from the fence back to its original location. Together, these targeted improvements helped create a more intentional water-management layout tailored to the home's existing roof and gutter configuration.
The project demonstrates how custom fabrication and carefully planned adjustments can solve specific drainage challenges without requiring unnecessary changes to the entire system.
